I added the repository to Ubuntu sources list:
deb http://people.linux.org.tw/~pcman/ubuntu ./
then installed with apt-get
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lxde
apt-get automatically installed all dependencies including openbox and PCMAN File Manager.
After the installation, I could login to LXDE by choosing it from gdm.
It is beautiful DE with all Menu built automatically. See the sreenshot below:

sir, you are really great!... you have explored sooo much about linux.. I guess you are the only aged person who is a linux expert!... n btw sir I wanted to know how 2 use BSNL broadband in ubuntu .. i use UT300R2U and I dont have a LAN card ... so the only option is USB; please help me out with this sir :)
